The IMG IT Business Operations Lead partners with IT leadership to drive operational rigor across major project steering forums, procurement workflows, compliance review and resource planning. The role is also responsible for leading regional communications and raising IMG’s profile across global IT product groups.
As the IMG IT Business Operations Lead, you will work with regional and global IT leadership to drive operational excellence across IMG IT teams, in the following focus areas.
- Major Project & Product Governance: Drive regional product governance for key platforms and ensure investment integrity through tracking KPIs and OKRs.
- Regional Compliance & Risk: Coordinate control reviews requirements (MCRP, SCRP, AFR) for IT teams within the region.
- Procurement & PO Governance: Work with global ITBO and regional leadership to support IMG IT teams through the sourcing process, including vendor process governance.
- Resource & Workforce Planning: Partner with global and regional IT leadership to lead regional headcount and resource planning.
- Performance Reporting & Communications: Lead operational reporting (Business Reviews) and provide communications leadership for the region (incl. Scoop IT, OCM and Skip level meetings) to build IMG’s profile globally.
- Educate IMG IT teams in use of the Global ITBO processes and tools.
- Provide daily operational direction and workflow management for the IMG ITBO support team.
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computing, Finance or related field.
- Extensive Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in IT Business Operations, Technology Program/Product Management, or IT Finance & Governance within a large-scale global enterprise.
- Program & Project Leadership: Proven ability to develop project plans, define scope, and ensure program objectives are completed within agreed timelines, budgets, and allocated resources.
- Financial & Procurement Acumen: Deep familiarity with purchase lifecycles, PO processes, financial approvals, and vendor process governance (including managing Outside Service Providers).
- Risk & Compliance Management: Practical knowledge of IT global processes and compliance frameworks (e.g., MCRP/SCRP), with the ability to identify risks and create effective mitigation plans.
- Executive Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders locally, regionally, and globally.
- Operational Reporting & Analytics: Ability to provide accurate, insightful analysis for executive leadership reviews (MBRs/QBRs), ideally leveraging data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI) to reinforce narratives with quantitative measurements.
- Team Supervision: Experience supervising, directing, and prioritizing the workflow of support team members (GSR and Agency staff).
- Global Collaboration: Proven ability to build networks, share ideas, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across a highly matrixed, global organization.
- Agile & Change Management: Familiarity with Product Driven Organization (PDO) principles, Agile methodologies, and change management strategies to help regional teams navigate new operational processes.
- Ford OS & Drive: Strong adoption of Ford OS behaviors, operating as a self-starter with a "can-do" attitude who can multitask and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
