EMEA Currencies and Emerging Markets Trading [Multiple Positions Available]
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Execute client flow, make markets, and manage FX spot and forward risk by trading and providing liquidity to JPMC's clients in EMEA Emerging Market FX and Interest Rate products. Provide market commentary and color to JP Morgan's clients who invest in EMEA economies. Attend in person meetings with various clients. Handle various tasks, including Profit and Loss reporting and risk reporting. Fund New York EMEA nostro balances daily, to ensure proper settlement of trades.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Any), Finance, Mathematics, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as CIB Associate, Currencies and Emerging Markets, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: Executing client flow, making markets, and managing FX spot and forward risk by trading and providing liquidity in EMEA Emerging Market FX and Interest Rate products; Managing risk in Emerging Markets; Initiating trades and risk taking in Macro financial markets and trading fundamentals; Putting together market color and commentary for customers, with analysis of Global macroeconomics and geopolitics; FX trading and derivatives; Trading in different market environments including EMEA local markets managing EMEA market characteristics across currencies and time zones, including liquidity, fundamentals, and local regulations; Managing client flow and risk at a sell-side financial institution in EMEA currencies and emerging markets; Monetizing franchise value in EMEA currencies and emerging markets; Servicing bank clients in EMEA emerging markets; Managing risk of market dynamics.
