Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Lab Assistant, you will play a crucial role in solving diagnostic mysteries, bringing us one step closer to effectively treating patient illnesses and injuries.
Every day you will utilize your expertise and our advanced technology to precisely collect, prepare, and process a diverse range of patient specimens (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) for various diagnostic tests.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a foundational understanding of laboratory procedures, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, and maintain an eager commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Works primarily in the lab specimen processing/intake department of the lab. Assist with specimen management and clerical duties as requested. May perform blood collection and specimen processing. If allowed by local/state regulations, may perform waived or mod complex testing, if appropriate for the department organization.

Required:High School Graduate, upon hire orHigh School GED, upon hire andBasic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR), within 90 Days andExcellent customer service and time management skills, upon hire
Preferred:Certificate Lab Assistant Program, upon hire or Certificate Phlebotomy program, upon hire and6 months experience in an acute care facility
