Be a part of a community of experts committed to ensuring quality, affordable healthcare worldwide.In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on patient care by providing specialized clinical and technical support to healthcare professionals in Operating Rooms (OR) and Intensive Care Units (ICU). You will work closely with customers to support the training, implementation, and adoption of technologies across the Core Surgical and Acute Care Monitoring portfolios, helping improve clinical outcomes and patient experiences. Operating under a FlexWork model with an assigned territory in Bogotá, you will collaborate with clinical and commercial teams to drive the safe and effective use of innovative solutions that help transform hospital care.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Provide on-site clinical education, training, and consulting to healthcare professionals in ICU and Operating Room (OR) settings on the proper use of Medtronic therapies and technologies
- Deliver specialized clinical support during surgical procedures and in critical care environments, ensuring the appropriate use of medical devices and contributing to improved patient outcomes
- Partner with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in ICU and OR settings, serving as a clinical and technical resource
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute business strategies across one or more business units
- Participate in congresses, conventions, forums, and clinical events to increase awareness and adoption of Medtronic solutions
- Work closely with Clinical Leadership, Clinical Management, and Sales teams to provide comprehensive support to customers and end users
- Identify business growth opportunities within hospitals, particularly in critical care and surgical settings
- Support the adoption of new therapies and technologies through clinical training and ongoing technical support
- Serve as a clinical and technical expert to support commercial activities, address specialized inquiries, and strengthen customer relationships
Experience & Knowledge Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy, Surgical Instrumentation, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field, with exposure to or experience in ICU environments
- Experience or familiarity with ICU and/or Operating Room (OR) settings
- Extensive experience is not required; however, familiarity with critical care and surgical clinical environments is important
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- English proficiency at a B2 level
Nice to Have
- Experience providing clinical or technical support for medical devices.
- Knowledge of patient monitoring technologies or critical care equipment.
- Previous experience working with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff in high-complexity hospital environments.
