About Nimble

Nimble is an AI robotics company building the autonomous supply chain to power fast, efficient and economical commerce. We’re training robot AGI to power a proprietary generalist supply chain superhumanoid, the first robot in the world capable of performing thousands of tasks across the supply chain. We’ve raised over $220M at over $1B valuation and formed a strategic alliance with FedEx to build a national network of autonomous warehouses capable of generating many billions in annual revenue. We are a hardcore and obsessed team of the world’s best engineers and operators. If you are obsessed with your craft, enjoy a high-intensity and fast moving high impact environment, are super high agency in getting hard things done and want to be part of building the world’s most legendary robotics company at the most pivotal moment in history, we want to work with you.

We are on a mission to empower and inspire mankind to accomplish legendary feats by inventing robots that liberate us from the menial. We will accomplish this by training robot AGI to invent and build the Autonomous Supply Chain – everything from the inside of factories and warehouses to your front door – powered by generalist superhumanoids.

Our founding team comes from the AI labs at Stanford and Carnegie Mellon and our board of directors include famed robotics and AI legends including Fei-Fei Li (Chief Scientist of AI at Google and Director of Stanford’s AI Lab), Marc Raibert (founder of Boston Dynamics), and Sebastian Thrun (founder of GoogleX, Waymo; Stanford Professor and considered the father of autonomous vehicles).

Let’s be legendary.

Position Overview

Nimble's Brain is the data and model engine behind our supply chain super humanoid robots — the pipeline that turns raw operational data into the training sets, evaluations, and feedback loops that make our robots smarter every day. We're looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager, Data Operations on Nimble’s Brain team to own the day-to-day operational rigor of that pipeline: making sure data collection, labeling, quality review, and delivery run like clockwork at scale, across every site and every robot fleet.

In this role, you will manage the operational systems and teams responsible for sourcing, collecting, labeling, auditing, and delivering the data that trains Nimble's models. You'll build and refine the workflows, staffing plans, and quality checkpoints that keep data flowing accurately and on schedule, and you'll be the operational bridge between on-site data teams, labeling vendors/annotators, and the research and engineering teams who consume the data.

You'll work daily with site operations, supply chain, research, and engineering to forecast data needs, unblock throughput issues, and continuously raise the bar on data accuracy and completeness. This is a hands-on, metrics-driven role — success looks like clean, reliable, on-time data that directly improves the intelligence and safety of Nimble's robots.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end data operations for Nimble's Brain: intake, collection, labeling, quality auditing, and delivery of training and evaluation datasets.
  • Design and run the operational processes and staffing plans (in-house and vendor/BPO) needed to label and QA data at scale, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Define and track operational metrics — throughput, accuracy, turnaround time, cost per label — and build the dashboards and reporting cadence to keep the org aligned.
  • Build feedback loops between data quality issues and upstream fixes, partnering with research and engineering to close the loop quickly.
  • Coordinate with on-site data collection teams across warehouse locations to ensure data capture protocols are followed consistently.
  • Manage relationships and SLAs with external labeling/annotation vendors, including onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the data pipeline, escalating and driving cross-functional fixes where needed.
  • Continuously improve tooling, documentation, and standard operating procedures for data operations as Nimble scales.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in data operations, labeling operations, business/technical operations, or a similar role managing high-volume operational pipelines.
  • Track record building and running scalable operational processes, ideally involving data collection, annotation/labeling, or quality assurance.
  • Comfortable managing vendor/BPO relationships and driving performance against SLAs.
  • Strong metrics orientation — able to define KPIs, build reporting, and use data to drive operational decisions.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills; able to align research, engineering, and operations stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ownership and comfort operating with ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Alignment with Nimble's values of being resourceful, humble, dependable, and committed to legendary impact.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in AI/ML data pipelines, data labeling platforms, or model evaluation workflows.
  • Background in robotics, autonomy, warehouse operations, or supply chain environments.
  • Experience standing up or scaling a data operations function from an earlier stage.
