Senior Director, Strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) – Global Sales & Service

Overview
We are seeking a Senior Director, Strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) for Global Sales and Service to play a lead role in transforming and optimizing our commercial organization. This leader will partner closely with senior commercial executives to design and execute an organizational strategy that maximizes sales and service capabilities, aligns resources to the highest-value opportunities, and drives sustained revenue and operating margin performance.  The leader in this role will thrive in a global, fast-paced culture of accountability, and have demonstrated experience building strategic talent solutions to solve business problems.

The Mandate
This role is charged with leading a small HRBP team to reimagine how the commercial organization is structured, enabled, and held accountable to deliver superior results. The mandate includes:

  • Driving the design and implementation of an organizational strategy that optimizes sales and service capabilities, capacity, and resource allocation
  • Operating as executive coach, confidant and consultant to senior commercial executives
  • Redesigning the sales force to improve effectiveness, productivity, and customer coverage
  • Building scalable commercial operations and enablement capability to support execution excellence
  • Embedding a high-performance, performance-based culture with clear accountability and differentiated outcomes
  • Modernizing talent practices across hiring, development, performance management, and rewards

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

Executive Coach

  • Operate as executive coach, confidant and consultant to senior commercial executives
  • Educate and drive executives to understand and adopt best practices that enable a high performing and highly engaged culture

Organizational Strategy & Design

  • Lead the development of a forward-looking organizational strategy aligned to growth priorities
  • Redesign sales and service structures, roles, and coverage models to maximize effectiveness
  • Align talent and resources to highest-impact opportunities and customer segments

Sales Force Effectiveness

  • Diagnose and improve sales productivity, performance drivers, and capability gaps
  • Define and implement best-in-class sales roles, career paths, and competency models
  • Partner with commercial leadership to optimize territory design, quotas, and deployment

Commercial Operations & Enablement

  • Build and scale a modern commercial operations and sales enablement function
  • Ensure teams have the tools, data, processes, and insights needed for consistent execution
  • Drive adoption of enablement programs that improve seller effectiveness and customer outcomes

Performance-Based Culture

  • Establish a culture of accountability with clear performance expectations and measurement
  • Implement differentiated performance management and reward frameworks
  • Coach leaders to actively manage performance and build high-performing teams

Talent Strategy & Development

  • Redefine how talent is hired, developed, and retained across the commercial organization
  • Build leadership pipelines and critical capability development programs
  • Drive continuous learning and upskilling aligned to future commercial needs

Transformation Leadership

  • Lead complex, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives from strategy through execution
  • Influence and partner with senior executives to drive alignment and decision-making
  • Ensure change adoption through strong communication, governance, and stakeholder engagement

Requirements and Preferences

  • 10+ years of progressive Global HRBP experience
  • Proven track record of leading organizational design and large-scale transformation initiatives
  • Expertise in sales force effectiveness, including structure, roles, coverage models, and performance drivers
  • Experience building or partnering with commercial operations and sales enablement functions
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into organizational and talent implications
  • Demonstrated success in implementing performance-based cultures, including performance management and incentive design
  • Experience and comfort leading global teams and coaching across dimensions of diversity
  • Lean and/or 6 Sigma experience
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience working with senior executives
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage analytics to inform decisions and measure impact
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in HR or related field) preferred

Travel  -

  • ~50% travel

The salary range is $200k-$297k. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay/long-term equity
