About the Role
At Pavago, we’re hiring on behalf of one of our clients for a Website Designer to create modern, responsive, and conversion-focused websites that combine exceptional visual design with outstanding user experience.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll take projects from concept to launch—creating wireframes, designing high-fidelity interfaces, building websites in modern CMS platforms, and continuously optimizing performance, SEO, accessibility, and conversion rates.

What You’ll Own
Website Design & User Experience
- Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups using:
- Figma
- Adobe XD
- Sketch
- Design responsive, conversion-focused websites aligned with brand identity.
- Create:
- Landing pages
- Service pages
- Marketing pages
- Website components
- Balance aesthetics, usability, and business objectives throughout the design process.
CMS Development & Website Implementation
- Build and maintain websites using:
- WordPress
- Webflow
- Shopify
- Squarespace
- Customize themes, templates, and layouts.
- Configure:
- Plugins
- Forms
- Widgets
- Third-party integrations
- Maintain scalable and well-structured website architecture.
Front-End Development
- Customize websites using:
- HTML
- CSS
- Basic JavaScript
- Ensure responsive layouts across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Implement modern UI components and interactive website elements.
- Maintain clean, maintainable front-end code.
Website Performance & SEO
- Optimize websites for:
- Speed
- Performance
- Accessibility
- Mobile responsiveness
- Implement on-page SEO best practices including:
- Meta titles & descriptions
- Heading hierarchy
- Alt text
- Internal linking
- Schema fundamentals
- Improve Core Web Vitals and overall user experience.
- Conduct audits using:
- Google PageSpeed Insights
- GTmetrix
- Lighthouse
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Test websites across:
- Browsers
- Devices
- Screen sizes
- Identify and resolve:
- Layout inconsistencies

Collaboration & Website Maintenance
- Collaborate with:

Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
Experience
- 2+ years of professional website design experience.
- Experience designing and building production websites.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating modern website design and UX thinking.
Core Skills
- Proficiency with:

- Experience with CMS platforms such as:
