Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients in the logistics and freight space, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and long-term partnership growth.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, and strategic outreach to expand the customer base.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, pipeline development, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Meet and exceed sales activity targets, including call volume, pipeline progression, and revenue goals.
- Collaborate closely with logistics coordinators to ensure smooth freight execution and alignment between sales commitments and operational delivery.
- Continuously monitor market trends and client needs to identify new business opportunities and growth areas.
- 3–4 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the logistics, freight brokerage, or 3PL industry.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies in a competitive, target-driven environment.
- Strong cold-calling, prospecting, and negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong performance and accountability.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term client relationships.
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering value and exceeding client expectations.
