HSE Governance & Compliance
- Drive and oversee HSEMS governance across the GES organization.
- Ensure compliance with corporate, legal, and regulatory HSE requirements.
- Conduct remote and onsite HSE audits, reviews, and compliance assessments.
HSE Program Deployment
- Deploy standardized HSE tools, processes, and best practices across GES.
- Lead implementation of HSE programs aligned with global and regional strategies.
- Support regional HSE initiatives and process excellence programs.
Risk Management & Field Support
- Provide field-level HSE support, including risk assessments and safe work practices.
- Guide engineers and teams on hazard identification, mitigation, and PPE usage.
- Support contractor and subcontractor HSE compliance.
Training & Competency Development
- Deliver HSE training programs (virtual and onsite).
- Conduct new employee inductions and safety orientations.
- Lead Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and competency development initiatives.
Incident Management & Continuous Improvement
- Manage incident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Ensure timely closure and sharing of lessons learned.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote proactive safety culture.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Develop and maintain HSE dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports.
- Provide insights and updates during leadership reviews.
- Support data analysis and utilization of digital tools for HSE performance tracking.
Operational Support
- Manage regional PPE logistics, ensuring timely availability and compliance.
- Support adoption and effective use of digital HSE tools and systems.
Key Deliverables
- Achievement or exceedance of HSE Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets.
- Reduction in incidents and improved safety performance metrics.
- Sustained improvement in HSE maturity, observations, and corrective action closure rates.
- Full compliance with HSE standards across employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Strengthened safety culture and continuous improvement mindset across the region.
Basic Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (mandatory).
- Formal HSE qualification/certification (e.g., NEBOSH, Diploma/PG in Industrial Safety).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant HSE experience in engineering, services, or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to build strong relationships in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and digital HSE platforms (preferred).
