We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of Content to lead the development, execution, and governance of all content initiatives. This role is responsible for crafting a content strategy that educates, engages, and converts retail clients across multiple channels while ensuring alignment with brand, regulatory, and commercial objectives. You will be reporting to the Global Marketing Lead and oversee a team of content creators, editors, and subject-matter experts, working closely with marketing, product, SEO, CRM, and compliance teams to deliver compelling, data-driven content across the full customer journey — from awareness to activation, retention, and loyalty.

Requirements

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing/Communications/Journalism/Finance or related field.
  • At least 7 years of content experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in the finance/fintech or investment space is strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of financial markets and user behavior.
  • Proven success in driving measurable business outcomes through content.

Technical & Functional Skills:

  • Familiarity with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Surfer), CMS platforms, and analytics dashboards (GA4, Looker, etc.).
  • Excellent editorial judgment, writing, and storytelling skills.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple timelines and stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with content marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Braze, etc.).
  • Multilingual content oversight or regional market experience.
  • Knowledge of video production, podcasting, or social media trends in finance.

Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Own the global content strategy to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
  • Define content themes, formats, tone of voice, and calendar aligned with business objectives and audience needs.
  • Segment content by lifecycle stage, market, and persona (e.g., beginner vs. experienced users).

Content Creation & Management

  • Lead the creation of high-quality content across channels: blogs, emails, landing pages, social media, video scripts, whitepapers, webinars, in-app content, and more.
  • Build and manage a scalable editorial team including writers, editors, translators, and freelance contributors.
  • Ensure content is relevant, accurate, compliant, and on-brand.

SEO & Performance Integration

  • Collaborate with SEO specialists to create search-optimized content that ranks and converts.
  • Monitor performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversion, bounce, etc.) and continuously optimize content.
  • Develop pillar pages and topic clusters around education, promotions, and platform features.

Localization & Regional Adaptation

  • Oversee localization of content for key markets (e.g., Southeast Asia, Latin America, Middle East).
  • Maintain consistency of brand messaging and quality across languages, regions, and channels.
  • Manage content workflows across internal and external translation resources.

Thought Leadership & Education

  • Position the brand as a trusted authority through educational and market-focused content (e.g., user guides, tutorials, market outlooks).
  • Partner with internal analysts, educators, or influencers to produce expert-level insights.
  • Identify opportunities for content-led webinars, live sessions, and community education initiatives.

Compliance & Governance

  • Liaise with legal and compliance teams to ensure content adheres to regulatory standards (FCA, ASIC, CySEC, etc.).
  • Maintain version control, audit trails, and approval workflows.
  • Stay updated on financial promotion regulations in key markets.
