Ecolab, the global leader in premium cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional, and industrial markets, is seeking a Logistics Specialist for our warehouse facility in McDonough, GA! This role is responsible for the accurate and timely picking, packing, preparation, and shipping of all customer orders. Additionally, the role is responsible for accurate material handling and cycle count functions.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Performs data entry to release, moves into location, or adjusts inventory through computer software 

  • Addresses departmental paperwork and conducts physical searches/researches of missing products 

  • Manages receiving schedule of inbound shipments for vendors

  • Assists in researching discrepancies on cycle counts 

  • Assists shipping departments with problem pick tickets  

  • Determines shipping method for material using knowledge of shipping procedures and rates

  • Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes

  • Uses a warehouse management system and prepares accurate bills for outbound freight

  • Works with establishment representatives to rectify problems such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications

  • Tracks departmental data and generates applicable reports as needed

  • Stores shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock

  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment.  

  • Performs other duties as assigned 

Position Details:

  • Plant location: McDonough, GA Warehouse

  • Work week and shift: 2nd shift 2:00pm - 10:00pm

  • Compensation package offered: $23.80 / hour with some OT

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • 3 years of customer service, administrative, inventory, production, or supply chain support role

  • 3 years of previous experience in a warehouse, transportation, shipping, and receiving related capacity

  • 1 year of previous Raymond stand-up forklift operating experience

  • 1 year of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

  • No Immigration Sponsorship available for this opportunity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field 

  • Experience with Total Production Management (TPM) & Continuous Improvement Systems 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

  • Strong attention to detail, good communication skills and a team player

Physical Requirements of Position:

  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $44,400.00 - $66,600.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
