About the Role
As an Engineering Fabricator at our Charm Colorado campus, you’ll join a driven and highly technical team that is responsible for fabricating pyrolyzer and injection skid components, while also getting the opportunity to support the assembly + commissioning of new pyrolysis systems. This specific Engineering Fabrication role will provide critical and unique welding and build skills to make engineering designs come to life with deep collaboration with design engineers and operations staff. Working with fellow Charmers, vendors, and occasional third parties, you’ll be directly contributing to new R&D assemblies and iterative design improvement on existing production equipment.
You’re a great candidate for this role if you have experience with engineering drawing interpretation, metal fabrication, mechanical assembly, and are an excellent communicator/creative problem solver. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, proactive, hungry for new challenges, confident using machine tools and welding, and is able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks on a day-to-day basis. We use tools like Slack for quick back-and-forth with engineering, Onshape for reviewing designs and flagging issues early, and Jira to log builds, track revisions, and keep everyone in sync.
This role will report to our Engineering Technician Lead in Fort Lupton within the broader Engineering Department.
