Sourcing Specialist - Marketing
This position oversees the Marketing strategic sourcing and management process of services, agencies, and vendors. Responsibilities may include developing sourcing strategies, executing sourcing strategies, monitoring market movements, negotiating agreements, working with a broad base of business groups, and resolving issues with vendors. Position will work closely with the Sourcing Director and Marketing department supporting more strategic, complex, or specialized categories.
This position is not hybrid/remote and will be based at our Global Headquarters is located in Cleveland, OH.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
With direction from Sourcing Director, develop and implement sourcing strategies and plans for Marketing categories.
Develop, issue and analyze RFP’s assigned to Marketing categories directed by Sourcing Director.
Communicate with stakeholders sourcing strategies, pricing, and market conditions impacting services.
Support Marketing’s strategy and requirements.
Identify and develop new agency/vendors.
Ensure uninterrupted services and maintain agency/vendor relationships.
Work with Sourcing Director to negotiate and implement sourcing agreements/contracts which help to increase service assurance, reduce risk and improve Sherwin-Williams’ competitive position in the market.
Forecast pricing on assigned Marketing categories to provide top management with key information for determining future pricing and budgetary impacts.
Management of established pricing (verification, resolution of discrepancies, etc.).
With assistance from Sourcing Director, negotiate and resolve any claims or disputes concerning a agency/vendor’s performance on Marketing categories managed.
With assistance from Sourcing Director, develop written Marketing category strategies and ways of working.
Develop and implement cost savings projects and initiatives for Marketing categories.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure strategy alignment with total cost and assured service.
Ensure compliance with department policies, procedures and applicable laws, rules and regulations.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Marketing,
- 2+ years of Sourcing, Supply Chain, or Marketing
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future for employment visa status
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
Preferred:
- 4+ years successful Sourcing, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related experience is desirable.
- Experience with cost savings, contract negotiation and security of supply.
- Experience with COUPA
