Accountabilities

    • Perform bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, ensuring financial records remain accurate and up to date.
    • Prepare, review, and issue monthly financial statements while meeting quality standards and reporting deadlines.
    • Create and maintain supporting schedules for accrued expenses, prepaid expenses, and other balance sheet accounts.
    • Complete quality assurance reviews prior to issuing financial reports and update reporting summaries with key monthly insights.
    • Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies by analyzing transactions and supporting documentation.
    • Maintain strong accounting controls by following established policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
    • Respond to financial reporting inquiries from internal and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
    • Participate in internal and external audits while supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
    • Requirements

      • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
      • At least 3 years of experience in a Staff Accountant or similar accounting position.
      • Experience preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledger accounts, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
      • Strong understanding of bank reconciliations, account analysis, and financial reporting best practices.
      • Hands-on experience using accounting software and financial management systems.
      • Previous experience in HOA, COA, or property management accounting is highly desirable.
      • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple financial reports accurately and efficiently.
      • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to continuous process improvement.
      • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
      • Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
