Accountabilities:

    As a Data Governance Analyst III, you will support the development and execution of enterprise data governance and master data management initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, accountability, and operational adoption while helping create a trusted foundation for analytics and business decisions.

    • Partner with business, analytics, platform, and infrastructure teams to support data governance initiatives aligned with organizational priorities.
    • Own and improve governance workflows, metadata practices, stewardship processes, and documentation standards across assigned data domains.
    • Support the development and maintenance of data glossaries, lineage documentation, canonical data models, and governance frameworks.
    • Contribute to master data management initiatives by improving data consistency, discoverability, and operational reliability.
    • Help define and monitor governance KPIs, reporting processes, and data quality measurements.
    • Support governance controls, remediation workflows, and accountability processes to strengthen compliance and trusted data practices.
    • Drive adoption of governance standards through stakeholder communication, enablement materials, and process improvements.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to evaluate automation opportunities, AI-assisted governance capabilities, and data quality enhancements.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate brings strong experience in enterprise data management, governance frameworks, and cross-functional collaboration. You should be comfortable translating complex data concepts into practical business solutions while maintaining operational discipline and attention to detail.

      • 4–6+ years of experience in data governance, master data management, analytics, operations, or related enterprise data roles.
      • Strong understanding of metadata management, reference data, data stewardship models, and governance frameworks.
      • Experience supporting governance processes, data quality initiatives, and operational data management workflows.
      • Familiarity with metadata catalog platforms such as Atlan and enterprise data lineage practices.
      • Working knowledge of modern data architectures and how governance integrates with analytics and data engineering environments.
      • Understanding of AI-assisted governance, entity resolution concepts, and automation opportunities for improving trusted data management.
      • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams.
      • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain governance concepts clearly to business, operational, and technical audiences.
      • Strategic and systems-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills and attention to process consistency.
      • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, regulated industries, privacy, classification, or retention initiatives is a plus.
