Accountabilities:
- Manage and maintain multi-account cloud environments, ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency across infrastructure platforms.
- Deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud-based systems and services while supporting internal stakeholders and technical teams.
- Design and implement infrastructure-as-code solutions to automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management processes.
- Monitor system health, availability, and performance, proactively identifying risks and implementing improvements to increase reliability and resilience.
- Develop and maintain automation tools, scripts, and operational processes that improve deployment efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Ensure cloud environments comply with security standards, internal policies, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support new cloud initiatives, provide technical guidance, and promote operational excellence.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, responding to incidents, troubleshooting production issues, and driving post-incident improvements.
- Contribute to monitoring strategies, observability initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts across infrastructure and operations teams.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Linux/UNIX systems administration and production infrastructure management.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud-native technologies.
- Experience managing multi-account AWS environments and cloud governance solutions, including AWS Control Tower.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using languages such as Python, Bash, Ruby, or Go.
- Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Solid knowledge of configuration management and automation platforms, including Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Salt.
- Experience using Git in collaborative development environments, including branching strategies, code reviews, and version control workflows.
- Familiarity with container technologies and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes is considered a strong asset.
- Experience with DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and platforms such as Jenkins and Artifactory is preferred.
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and performance analysis solutions across distributed environments and multiple data centers.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
