Job Description

What Does Success Look Like

We are looking for a Product Designer with 2–5 years of experience, or equivalent practical experience, designing thoughtful digital products in fast-paced environments. In this role, you will help design next-generation enterprise software experiences using Sprinklr’s design system, AI-first workflows, and emerging agentic design patterns, where software can understand user intent, recommend next steps, support human oversight, and help users move from insight to action more efficiently. You will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Research, and senior design partners to create clear user flows, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and interaction models that are intuitive, trustworthy, accessible, and scalable.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in product design and can show practical experience through SaaS or enterprise product work, startup or agency experience, internships, campus placements, academic projects, bootcamps, freelance work, or other equivalent paths. They are comfortable learning complex workflows, applying design systems, collaborating across time zones, and using AI-assisted design and research tools responsibly. They should bring curiosity about AI-powered user experiences, human-in-the-loop interaction patterns, explainability, user control, and agentic systems, while staying grounded in usability, craft, product strategy, and measurable customer outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Use Sprinklr’s design system, product patterns, and AI-first tools to create thoughtful explorations for complex enterprise workflows. Partner with senior and principal designers to understand user needs, clarify problem statements, identify opportunities for intelligent assistance, and shape clear end-to-end user journeys.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, clickable prototypes, and interaction details that explain how users move through AI-powered and agentic experiences. Apply reusable design system components to ensure consistency, accessibility, clarity, and polish across products.
  • Build strong working relationships with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, Content Designers, and other designers. Clarify requirements, document design decisions, gather feedback, and respond quickly to implementation questions or design issues, especially when timelines are tight.
  • Participate in research and discovery activities, including stakeholder conversations, client interviews, usability testing, workflow reviews, competitive reviews, and synthesis of customer insights. Translate findings into practical design decisions, including where AI assistance, automation, human review, and service design improvements can simplify the end-to-end experience.
  • Collaborate early with senior design partners to explore options, gather input, and align on a clear design direction. Be open to feedback and critique from design leadership and cross-functional partners. Once a direction is approved, communicate it clearly to Product Management, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare design work for review, incorporate feedback quickly, and continue refining the work until it is clear, usable, technically feasible, accessible, and aligned with the intended user outcome.

What Makes You Qualified

  • 2–5 years of product design experience, or equivalent practical experience through SaaS or enterprise product work, startup or agency roles, internships, campus placements, academic projects, bootcamps, freelance work, or other hands-on design paths.
  • Practical exposure to AI-powered user experiences, AI-assisted design or research tools, and emerging agentic workflows. You understand concepts such as intelligent recommendations, automation, explainability, user control, and human-in-the-loop review, and are eager to deepen that expertise.
  • Experience conducting or supporting research activities such as user interviews, usability testing, competitive reviews, workflow analysis, survey synthesis, heuristic reviews, or synthesis of qualitative insights into design recommendations.
  • Strong foundation in interaction design, information architecture, visual design, usability, accessibility, and storytelling from a user and business perspective.
  • Awareness of service design thinking, including journey mapping, service blueprints, frontstage and backstage workflows, and cross-functional moments that shape the full customer and employee experience.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments, can manage ambiguity, and are flexible and adaptive as priorities change.
  • You are comfortable moving from problem framing to concepts, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity design with appropriate guidance from senior design partners.
  • Creative, curious, and open to critique, with the ability to stay focused on the design problems that matter most to users, customers, and the business.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make progress on complex software interaction problems, ask good questions, and balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders across locations and time zones.
  • Collaborative working style, with the ability to contribute in design critiques, share work early, receive feedback constructively, and support teammates in a distributed design organization.
  • Empathy for user needs and a commitment to simplifying complex workflows for enterprise users.
  • A portfolio, case study collection, or practical work samples that show your design process, problem framing, user flows, interaction design, UI craft, use of design systems, and how you moved from user need to final solution. Academic, internship, freelance, bootcamp, startup, agency, SaaS, or enterprise projects are all welcome if they demonstrate strong thinking and execution.
  • Proficiency with Figma, including components, variants, auto layout, prototyping, and collaboration workflows.
  • Working familiarity with FigJam, Figma Dev Mode, Jira, Confluence, design systems, prototyping tools, and AI-assisted design or research tools.
  • Experience applying design system components and patterns consistently, with an understanding of how to document usage, edge cases, and implementation details for engineering partners.
  • A degree is not required if you can demonstrate equivalent practical experience and strong product design work.
  • Join us on this design journey where creativity, user empathy, research, service design thinking, AI-first product design, and agentic innovation come together to improve productivity and simplify enterprise experiences across the Sprinklr platform.

We focus on our mission: Sprinklr was founded in 2009 to solve a big problem: growing enterprise complexity that separated brands from their customers.
