Facilities Supervisor - Full Time (Caesars Atlantic City)

Responsible for assisting the Facilities Shift Manager in the supervision of the day-to-day activities of the Facilities/Engineering functions.   

Starting Salary: $65,000 annually

• Responsible for the supervision of all trade personnel on the shift, including internal upkeep of buildings and external ground maintenance.
• Responsible for the maintenance and mechanical integrity of the facility.
• Interfaces with all department managers during shift, maintaining an optimum level of service to external/internal customers.
• Conducts daily tours of facility to identify, correct and follow-up on all deficiencies.
• Responsible for assignment and completion of work from the Preventive Maintenance Instruction (PMI) load board.
• Maintains daily shift log indicating, but not limited to, employee incidents, irregularities that may arise, ie. mechanical shutdowns, emergencies and alarms.
• Assists with selection of candidates, training, coaching and scheduling staff.
• Ensures each of the trade shops maintain a clean, organized and safe space.
• Ensures the staff follows all safety protocols and programs in place.
• Ensures direct reports provide Family Style Service.  
• Completes special assignments as requested. 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 
• Must have at least 2 years’ experience in the building trades as well as experience supervising maintenance trade employees.
• Strong organizational, communication, supervisory and administrative skills. 
• Must possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license.
• Must be self- motivated and able to work independently
• Must be able to work evenings, nights and weekends
• Required to perform the customer service standards of the department
• Basic knowledge of Fire Safety and Building Codes.

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways or escalator
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. 
• Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel repetitively
• Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment
• Must be able to work in areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights
