Test & Evaluation Electrical Lab Tech (Associate or Mid-Level)

The Boeing CompanyBoeing’s Space Launch System Core Stage Production Test Team is looking for a Test & Evaluation Electrical Lab Tech (Associate or Mid-Level) to join their team in Kennedy Space Center, FL in support of NASA’s Artemis program. This role will be part of the Production Test Team that is testing and verifying our products to ensure the ultimate safety for human spaceflight.
The Production Test Team performs a significant amount of testing on the avionics, propulsion and hydraulic systems ensuring the proper build of the rocket throughout the production build.

Position Responsibilities:
- Supports activities to plan, conduct and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Designs systems, materials, components, software and methodologies to meet customer requirements.
- Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems.
- Supports the coordination of test requirements and assists in reviewing test methods and capabilities.
- Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post test tear-down.
- Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results.
- Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems.
- Works under general supervision
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1+ years of experience working in a lab test, factory test, or similar test environment
- Willing and able to work in confined spaces
- Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights with or without equipment assistance
- Willing to work 2nd shift
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with leak testing or operation of pneumatic panels
- 3+ years of education or experience in space-based propulsion systems
- 3+ years of experience with Avionics and/or Electrical systems

Summary pay range:
Associate (Level 2): $53,550-$72,450
Mid Level (Level 3): $63,750-$86,250
