MAVEN Architect and Section Lead
Responsibilities
Peraton is currently recruiting for a Senior MAVEN Architect and Section Lead
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable with the Palantir Foundry and/or MAVEN Support System platform and tools, and highly capable as a leader over a small team. This candidate will be engaged daily with senior leadership to coordinate and design capabilities in support of multiple applications and operational needs. This role requires the ability to prioritize and manage all projects and resources as well as design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement quality solutions. A successful candidate will be able to work with customers and lead team members to build according to requirements for a variety of projects.
Essential Job Duties:
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Maven Support Systems to advise senior leadership and civilian stakeholders and to discuss and document project requirements
- Oversee a small team of Maven Architects
- Provide hands-on assistance to team members and other users of the Maven Support Systems
- Oversee projects to determine feasibility, identify blockers, and track status and adherence to proposed or required timelines
- Develop and maintain operational, data-driven dashboards, workflows, datasets, and pipelines
- Implement Workshop to build interactive applications
- Build Ontologies as necessary for use in Workshop applications
- Research, test, build, and coordinate the integration of new products per production and client requirements
- Assist in documenting artifacts in support of the products developed to include:
- Product User guides
- Requirements specifications
- Instructional materials
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/BA + 5 yrs similar experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (interim required prior to start)
- Leadership skills and capable of collaborating with diverse Army and contractor personnel
- Strong navigation and site-design instincts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for military and civilian interaction
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical and operational stakeholders
- Working proficiency in Python, Typescript, React, HTML, CSS, and SQL
- Familiarity with enterprise analytics platforms or low-code/no-code tools (Maven Support Systems preferred)
- Perform on-call and after duty hours as needed
- Ability to acquire one of the following certifications:
- CSSLP – Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional certification
- COMPTIA Security+
Preferred:
- Knowledge of GIT or other source control software
- Familiarity with one or more of the following:
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- Power BI
- SharePoint Online
- Prior experience in government, DoD, or regulated environments
