Accountabilities:
- Manage core accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all financial processes.
- Prepare and monitor invoicing cycles, aging reports, collections support, vendor payments, contractor invoices, and expense processing workflows.
- Perform monthly reconciliations including bank statements, balance sheet accounts, and A/R and A/P alignment with the general ledger.
- Record journal entries such as payroll accruals, prepaids, and other adjustments while ensuring compliance with internal accounting policies.
- Support monthly financial reporting, forecasts review, audit preparation, and leadership reporting packages.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
- Solid understanding of core accounting principles, including A/R, A/P, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
- Strong proficiency in accounting tools and systems such as QuickBooks and financial platforms for invoicing, payments, and expense tracking.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle client, vendor, and contractor interactions professionally.
- Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving ability, and ownership mindset in managing financial tasks and identifying process improvements.
- Ability to work remotely within the U.S., with eligibility considerations excluding certain states, and willingness to participate in occasional in-person meetings in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
- Competitive salary range of $56,000 – $61,000 annually.
