Operational Excellence & Execution
• Drive customer engagement, satisfaction, retention and reactivation in close cooperation with Field Sales and the Customer Care Location (CCL) to establish and strengthen operational relations with customers.
• Focus on continuous improvement of processes and controls, including customer case management through KN Service Moments, aiming for a consistent delivery against the customer promise
• Regularly meet with CCL management to identify and address gaps in existing processes, ensuring a positive customer experience
• Oversee production expense monitoring and ensure a thorough understanding of the Profit & Loss statement
• Ensure high-quality handling of export shipments in accordance with operational standards and customer expectations.
• Oversee and handle day-to-day export shipment, ensuring documentation accuracy, coordination, and communication flow is seamless.
• Monitor daily operations to identify issues, resolve day-to-day operational challenges and escalate critical issues as needed to ensure proper and timely resolution and ensure smooth end-to-end shipment handling.
• Own and continuously improve OCC processes to increase productivity, cost efficiency, and lean operations.
• Anchor system utilization and support enhancement of OCC core systems and digital tools.
People Management
• Provide leadership and direction to OCC export team to ensure consistent delivery of operational performance.
• Conduct regular “anytime conversations” to track performance, development goals, and team engagement.
• Lead daily and weekly stand-up meetings to align priorities, address bottlenecks, and ensure strong team communication.
• Lead Team Leaders in supporting OCC Expert and Specialist teams to improve workflows and reduce waste with the process and systems team
• Facilitate skill updates and participation in training programs for team members
Customer & Stakeholders Collaboration
• Ensure effective communication with customers at the shipment level to provide timely updates and resolve any operational concerns.
• Work closely with CCL, Sales, and other internal teams to support customer development for both new and existing business.
• Collaborate with Overseas counterparts for green-light approvals, shipment handling requirements, and escalation management.
• Coordinate with OKAM for key account shipment-level support.
Vendor & Partner Management
• Build and manage relationships with carriers, vendors, and service providers to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Global Partnership Rules (GPR).
• Monitor supplier performance and drive proactive management to maintain service quality.
• Assist in the selection and onboarding of suppliers
• Help define and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLA), addressing performance issues as needed
What we would like you to bring
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sea Logistics, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Flexible and adaptable to varying work schedules to support international stakeholders and global operations.
