Job Description:
The Senior Technology Enablement Analyst provides end‑to‑end enablement for AML, Transaction Monitoring, and broader Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM) platforms, acting as a critical bridge between FCRM business users and Technology delivery teams.
This role ensures that complex regulatory, risk, and detection requirements are accurately translated into technology solutions that are well‑designed, data‑enabled, tested, operationally ready, and sustainable in BAU. The analyst enables safe and effective change across FCRM platforms by combining business application ownership, testing leadership, data enablement, and strong stakeholder orchestration.
Key Accountabilities
FCRM Technology Enablement & Platform Support
- Enable AML and Transaction Monitoring platforms across the full lifecycle—from intake and requirements through testing, deployment, and BAU integration.
- Support platforms used by FCRM operations, investigators, and oversight teams, ensuring solutions align with regulatory expectations, risk frameworks, and operational realities.
- Serve as a senior enablement point between FCRM business stakeholders and Technology teams, ensuring business intent, risk considerations, and data needs are accurately reflected in delivered solutions.
- Review and challenge solution designs, integrations, and data flows to ensure they support detection effectiveness, control integrity, and long‑term platform stability.
Business Application Ownership (FCRM Context)
- Lead intake and enablement of initiatives impacting AML, TM, alerting, investigative, and reporting applications.
- Own and maintain business‑owned artifacts required under PDLC, including business requirements, use cases, process flows, operational procedures, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure FCRM operational processes, system usage, and downstream impacts are clearly documented and understood prior to release.
- Act as an escalation point for application and BAU issues impacting FCRM operations, coordinating resolution across Technology, Data, and vendor partners.
Testing, Quality & Regulatory Readiness
- Lead or support Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) for AML and TM initiatives, including scenario definition, test case development, execution, and results analysis.
- Ensure testing coverage reflects realistic FCRM use cases, regulatory scenarios, and data edge cases (e.g., thresholds, typologies, segmentation changes).
- Partner with Test Leads to align business testing with broader test strategies, ensuring consistent standards and audit‑ready evidence.
- Enable release readiness by validating functional, data, and operational impacts before production deployment.
Data Enablement for AML & TM
- Enable data used in AML and TM platforms by supporting data mapping, transformations, lineage, and validation, in alignment with enterprise data governance standards.
- Partner with Data, Analytics, and OCDO teams to ensure detection logic, thresholds, and reporting are supported by accurate, well‑understood data.
- Support FCRM stakeholders in understanding how data flows through alerts, investigations, reporting, and regulatory outputs.
- Contribute to data roadmaps and enhancement strategies related to TM effectiveness, analytical use cases, and regulatory reporting.
Risk, Governance & Decision Support
- Identify and escalate risks related to detection effectiveness, data quality, testing coverage, operational readiness, or regulatory compliance.
- Ensure initiatives adhere to Data Governance, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and regulatory requirements applicable to FCRM platforms.
- Act as a senior decision-maker within scope, synthesizing input from FCRM SMEs, Technology, Data, and Testing partners to provide clear recommendations.
- Support business cases, benefits realization, and risk mitigation strategies for AML and TM initiatives.
Stakeholder Enablement & Team Contribution
- Build trusted partnerships with FCRM end‑users, compliance SMEs, Technology teams, Data partners, and external vendors.
- Translate complex regulatory and operational concepts into clear, actionable technology requirements—and translate technology constraints back to the business.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for supported AML/TM platforms, enablement practices, and operational impacts.
- Mentor and coach team members, enabling consistent enablement practices across FCRM initiatives.
