GDIT is seeking a Strategic Capture Director for the Federal Civilian Division to join our outstanding Growth team! The Strategic Capture Director leads end‑to‑end capture activities across the Federal Civilian Division, shaping opportunities, developing winning strategies, and managing the execution of complex pursuits valued at $100M+. This person will be responsible for driving the growth processes in concert with our business development and program leaders. They will play a crucial role in driving end-to-end capture execution spanning qualification, customer shaping, strategy, solution alignment, color reviews, and proposal readiness across a variety of net new and existing customers in the Federal Civilian portfolio.
This position provides an outstanding opportunity to work across our Growth organization and resources to solve critical technology and mission challenges across the Federal Civilian community. You will take on new challenges across our Federal Civilian customer portfolio as our business and mission-impact continues to expand.
HOW A CAPTURE DIRECTOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Work in close collaboration with Growth and P&L leadership to develop and execute capture strategies for assigned opportunities to secure new and/or re-compete contracts
Provide strategic thinking and develop compelling and differentiating capture and win strategies on opportunities with revenue of $100M+. This includes leading and orchestrating competitive assessments, shaping strategies, win theme development, teaming strategies, Price-to-Win, pricing strategies, solutions development, and bid/no-bid recommendations to senior management
Manage the effective execution of capture pursuits, following the business development process and gate controls, tracking performance to cost and schedule, and communicating ongoing capture status to leadership
Develop and maintain high quality relationships with internal and external customers, partners, OEMs, and use state-of-the-art toolsets to collect business intelligence and efficiently develop and continually assess capture plans

Establish value added teaming strategies and competitive pricing structures to create a profitable return at a winning cost
Develop marketing strategies and provide input into market account plans with assigned account Growth and P&L leaders that align with the company's strategic plan
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your initiative and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Strategic Capture Director must have:
Education: Bachelor's degree in related discipline-business, technical, scientific
Experience: 10+ years of related experience as a capture executive, leading large and highly complex capture opportunities with Federal agencies, leveraging open-source analysis techniques to prepare for opportunities, and GenAI tools for responding to opportunities
Work Experience: Demonstrated experience successfully capturing $100M+ competitive deals with an emphasis on Information Technology
Track record of success winning captures with net new and existing customers in the Federal Civilian market.
Technical skills: Expertise in emerging technologies including, but not limited to AI, Digital Modernization, DevSecOps, Cloud, and Cyber
Security clearance level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance
US citizenship required
Location: Hybrid to Falls Church, VA(at least 3 days/week in office); Local travel to customer and industry locations is expected and some travel outside of the area
