Role overview
Remote Recruitment is hiring a remote Customer Service Agent to support a UK-based employer from South Africa. You'll be the friendly first point of contact, helping customers by phone, email and chat. This is a fully remote role working 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST).
Key responsibilities
- Respond to customer queries by phone, email and live chat
- Resolve issues promptly and follow up where needed
- Log interactions and update customer records
- Escalate complex cases to the right team
- Help improve the customer experience with feedback
What you'll need
- Experience with customer service or support roles
- Familiarity with helpdesk or CRM software
- Patience, empathy and clear communication
- Clear written and spoken English
- A reliable home internet connection and quiet workspace
