Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain mobile test automation frameworks and automated test suites for iOS and Android applications.
- Perform manual testing activities including exploratory, regression, functional, and smoke testing to validate application quality.
- Create, manage, and execute test cases, test plans, and defect reports using JIRA and Xray.
- Develop and maintain no-code and low-code automation scripts using visual and flow-based automation tools.
- Write Java-based automation code for integration testing, API validation, and custom testing requirements.
- Configure and maintain API mocking environments using WireMock to support reliable and isolated test execution.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce defects, validate fixes, and improve application stability across development cycles.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, retrospectives, and QA estimation activities.
- Support CI/CD pipeline integration by enabling automated test execution throughout the release process.
- Document testing strategies, automation frameworks, and quality processes to promote knowledge sharing across teams.
- 5+ years of experience in mobile test automation for iOS and/or Android applications.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test strategy, test design techniques, defect management, and software development lifecycle processes.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing practices, including exploratory testing and regression validation.
- Experience using JIRA for defect tracking and Xray for test case management, execution, and reporting.
- Experience with no-code or low-code automation frameworks such as Sofy.ai, Maestro, TestProject, Katalon, or similar tools.
- Experience configuring and using WireMock for API mocking and service virtualization.
- Working knowledge of Java for automation development, utilities, and custom test extensions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate technical findings clearly to different stakeholders.
- Nice to have: Experience with Appium, Espresso, device farms, CI/CD pipelines, GraphQL testing, Docker-based test infrastructure, or AI-assisted testing solutions.
