Accountabilities:
- Design end-to-end product experiences from initial concepts and discovery through detailed design and final implementation.
- Transform complex and ambiguous product challenges into simple, intuitive workflows, interactions, and user interfaces.
- Create AI-native experiences and develop new interaction patterns for tasks such as research, drafting, reviewing, and decision-making with AI.
- Build high-fidelity prototypes to explore ideas, validate concepts, and communicate product vision effectively.
- Use AI tools throughout the design process to accelerate exploration, iteration, and execution.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers throughout the full product lifecycle, from discovery and refinement to implementation.
- Contribute to and evolve design systems, interaction frameworks, and overall product quality.
- Advocate for simplicity, usability, and craftsmanship across every aspect of the user experience.
- Participate in design critiques and help raise the quality standard through thoughtful feedback and attention to detail.
- Balance strategic product thinking with hands-on execution to deliver polished and impactful solutions.
- 5+ years of experience designing digital products, with a portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking and successful shipped work.
- Exceptional skills in product design, interaction design, visual design, and user experience strategy.
- Experience designing AI-powered products or AI-driven features used in production environments.
- Strong understanding of how AI impacts user behavior, workflows, and interface design.
- Ability to use AI tools effectively throughout the design process to generate ideas, iterate quickly, and improve execution.
- Proven ability to simplify complex workflows into clear, intuitive user experiences.
- Comfortable moving between high-level product strategy and detailed design execution.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to make informed decisions, move quickly, and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
- Experience collaborating closely with engineers and product teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate design decisions.
- Experience creating, maintaining, and improving design systems.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal process while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Experience designing enterprise software, legal technology, or other complex professional products is a plus.
- Experience conducting lightweight user research and using rapid prototyping techniques is preferred.
