Key Responsibilities

  • Provide independent advice on life insurance matters to private clients and, where relevant, corporate/organizational clients across France, Luxembourg, and Belgium.
  • Gather and analyze client information to assess insurance needs and investment objectives, translating them into appropriate coverage recommendations.
  • Use deep knowledge of insurers and their policies to identify solutions that best meet client needs, balancing features, service, and overall value.
  • Lead complex case strategy and placement end-to-end (submission through underwriting, offer negotiation, policy issuance, and delivery).
  • Negotiate specialized coverage terms and structures in complex cases, coordinating across internal stakeholders and external partners as appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with professional counterparts in the insurance ecosystem (insurers, underwriters, and other specialists).
  • Support renewals and changes to existing policies, ensuring ongoing suitability and a high-quality client experience.
  • Assist clients with claims by guiding required documentation, liaising with insurers, and driving timely progression and clear communication.
  • Manage associated administration, including written correspondence and reports, maintaining accurate records, attending meetings, and supporting premium/payment processing and related account administration as applicable.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable local regulations and internal policies, with strong confidentiality and disciplined handling of sensitive client medical/financial information.
  • Design and deliver the annual regulatory training sessions for the Front Office, ensuring completion tracking and alignment with applicable local requirements.

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in life insurance advisory/broking and complex case placement; HNW/UHNW client experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to provide independent, needs-based advice and manage multiple stakeholders through end-to-end execution.
  • Strong technical knowledge of life insurance products, underwriting dynamics, in-force servicing, renewals/changes, and claims processes.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to structure solutions in complex situations.
  • Experience working effectively across France, Luxembourg, and Belgium (cross-border coordination experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong communication skills, executive presence, and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet/maintain all relevant local licensing or registration requirements for insurance advice/broking in the applicable jurisdictions.
  • Languages: French and English required, German is an asset.
