North American Life Sciences Research Services Sales Director
Manages the activities of NA Research services Sales organization in support of achieving sales objectives. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle research services to drive growth across Commercial, Real-World Evidence (RWE), Clinical, Regulatory, and Safety research services within pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations. to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Networks and develops strong business relationships. Contributes to strategic and tactical planning for the global research services team. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff. Participates in the recruiting process and makes hiring decisions. Manages escalations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in business, life sciences, or related discipline preferred
- Minimum 5–10+ years of experience in sales management within life sciences, pharmaceutical research, consulting, or healthcare data services
- Demonstrated experience managing sellers across multiple service lines:
- Commercial market research and consulting
- Real-World Evidence / HEOR solutions
- Clinical research and post-approval studies
- Regulatory and Safety studies
- Deep understanding of the drug development, regulatory, and commercialization lifecycle
- Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with long sales cycles
- Demonstrated ability to manage sales systems and pipeline across a team for accurate forecasting, targeting and deal qualification.
- Strong relationships with and credibility among senior-level decision-makers in pharmaceutical and biotech organizations
- Experience working with complex commercial arrangements and innovative partnership models a plus

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $148,900 to $243,800 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 60/40.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
