We are looking for a passionate and motivatedย Trainer Iย to begin a rewarding coaching career in a structured fitness environment. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others achieve their health and fitness goals while developing their own coaching expertise. Working alongside experienced coaches, you will assist in delivering engaging, safe, and effective training sessions while learning proven coaching methodologies and best practices.

As a Trainer I, you will support day-to-day coaching activities, lead warm-up and mobility sessions, assist with movement instruction, and ensure every participant receives personalized attention. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build practical coaching experience, enhance technical knowledge, and grow into advanced coaching responsibilities within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior coaches in delivering structured fitness sessions and group training programs.
  • Lead stretching, warm-up, and mobility routines while ensuring participant safety and proper movement preparation.
  • Demonstrate exercises with correct technique and provide clear coaching cues to participants.
  • Support members by offering guidance, correcting movement patterns, and encouraging consistent progress.
  • Prepare coaching equipment and training spaces before sessions and ensure proper cleanup afterward.
  • Monitor attendance, maintain participant records, and provide timely updates on class activities.
  • Build positive relationships with members through regular follow-ups, motivation, and feedback.
  • Support participants with individual needs by following established coaching plans and exercise modifications.
  • Participate in team meetings, coaching reviews, and ongoing training to continuously improve coaching skills.
  • Identify and communicate participant concerns, progress, or challenges to senior coaching staff.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Higher Secondary (Class 12) qualification with a genuine passion for health, fitness, and coaching.
  • Recognized fitness certification such as NESTA, NSCA CSCS, NASM CPT/PES, ACSM CEP, StrongFirst, ASCA, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of strength and conditioning fundamentals, functional movement, and safe exercise techniques.
  • CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain and maintain current certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and engage participants.
  • Eagerness to learn from experienced coaches and grow within a structured coaching framework.
  • Ability to demonstrate exercises confidently while providing constructive feedback and movement corrections.
  • Comfortable using basic productivity tools such as Google Sheets, Zoom, or similar applications.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering a high-quality member experience.
  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and adaptable, with the flexibility to work early morning schedules and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
