Summary:
Responsible for supporting the implementation and deployment of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) at the site, to ensure that project timelines are met regarding project readiness activities, document migration, implementation testing and end user training.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for the creation, approval, and maintenance of Multi-Level Product (MLP) (specifications) and their necessary static data.
Create and maintain (MLPs), Test Schedules, Levels, MLP Limit Phrases, and Certificate templates.
Assists with standard project reporting procedures (i.e. minutes, agendas).
Supports project readiness activities – document cleaning, migration plan, protocol and mapping.
Works with and advises staff on administrative policies and procedures.
Provides timely assistance to lab chemists and supervisors when requested.
Assists LIMS Site SME and LES Site SME with completion of responsibilities as outlined in PSG Global and site Standard Operating Procedures
Maintain a safe working environment and report potential hazards.
Perform alternating or rotating shift work (as required)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
College/Technical School diploma in related technical field.
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related science (an asset).
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of LIMS related experience required.
Previous experience in a GMP Laboratory Environment (an asset).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Good interpersonal skills (verbal and written). Ability to multi-task. Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy. Works well independently and in a team environment. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word). Proficiency with the English language.

Follow all Environmental Health & Safety Policies and Procedures. Work collaboratively with fellow team members, modelling positive team principles and partnering to meet project and departmental objectives. Perform all duties within strict compliance to Patheon quality systems Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Maintain workspace in a clean and orderly fashion. Effectively engage in and adhere to departmental systems to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow (visual management, scheduling systems, etc.). Always be client and patient conscious. Understand Key Performance Indicators and strive to improve the performance of the team by identifying areas for system improvements and engage in problem solving. Model positive thinking and is open to change, motivating the team to adapt to shifts in priorities and new ways of working. Proactively identify areas for improvement in the execution of procedures. Communicate risks to timelines in an initiative-taking manner. Consistently strives to improve skills and knowledge in related field.
Physical Requirements:
Light physical effort and fatigue. Walks, sits or stands for limited periods. May require occasional equipment operation including keyboard equipment. Lifts light items for limited duration. Typically located in a comfortable indoor area. There may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes or odours, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights. Use of Personal Protective equipment may be required and may include any of the following: safety glasses, safety shoes, lab coat, gloves, hair net, beard cover, safety apron, respirator on occasionally.

Compensation
The estimated annualized pay range for this position in Ontario is $46,600.00–$69,850.00.
