Department Overview

The department is responsible for a wide range of activities, including managing one of the largest senior-focused platforms in the industry, the "Rakuten Senior" app and web services, the health media platform "Raku-Ken," large-scale senior events, and collaborative projects with national and local governments.

One of our strengths is having various touchpoints with senior users through our in-house services.

You will have the opportunity to experience the entire process, from planning and formulating business strategies, designing and executing initiatives, to operating and improving services.

Another key feature is the extensive collaboration with various services within the Rakuten Group to develop senior-focused initiatives.

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for proposing a variety of solutions, from online to offline, to new advertisers for our proprietary media, "Rakuten Senior App and Web." Your primary role will be to address and resolve client challenges

Position Details

Job Summary:

You will be responsible for all aspects of solution sales operations within Rakuten Senior.

Responsibilities/Job Details:

- Sales planning and development of new advertising menus/products.

- New client acquisition/business development.

- Proposal-based sales to existing clients.

- Identification of client challenges and proposal of solutions to address them.

- Analysis of implementation results and reporting to clients.

- Marketing and UX teams within the Rakuten Senior Business Division.

- New client acquisition.

- Proposals to existing clients.

- Proposing initiatives utilizing Rakuten Points and the Rakuten Ecosystem.

- Analyzing user demographics and behavioral trends from implementation results.

 Mandatory Qualifications:

■ Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate sales.

- Experience in planning and proposing solutions to address client challenges.

■ Desired Candidate Profile

- Ability to smoothly execute tasks by collaborating with internal and external partners.

- Ability to understand Rakuten's diverse services and create new value by leveraging its ecosystem.

- Ability to think based on data and figures, and propose improvements.

- Ability to adapt flexibly and proactively take on challenges even in a rapidly changing environment.

 

Desired Qualifications:

■ Preferred Qualifications

The following experiences are particularly welcome:

- 5+ years of experience in digital advertising sales within the IT industry, especially in e-commerce, FinTech, or digital content fields.

- Basic knowledge of marketing or digital marketing.

- Knowledge or experience related to the senior market (e.g., healthcare, lifestyle, community services).

- Extensive experience in creating presentations using PowerPoint.

-Knowledge or experience in using the Rakuten Ecosystem.
