Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Badge Control in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a driving patrol officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, operational areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support access control processes in accordance with site requirements.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports on incidents, patrols, and daily activities, and relay important security-related information during shift changes and to site management.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
