Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.Capable of obtaining quality radiographs of all body parts using proper exposure, markers, and shielding. Knows how to use portable x-ray machines and c-armsAssists Radiologist with Fluoroscopic proceduresInstructs and educates patient regarding the ordered test and prepares the patient for the procedureAble to use CR reader, erase CR cassettes, send images from CR reader, and perform image manipulation as necessaryAble to access PACS, review studies, and perform basic functions for image manipulations.
