POSITION SUMMARY

Sony Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking a Manager, AI Accelerator Business Partner to serve as a strategic connector across functions, helping departments and leaders identify, prioritize, and address business challenges through AI-enabled solutions. This role operates as a strategic advisor and codriver of AIenabled business transformation, leading cross-functional AI initiatives from discovery through implementation and scale. Partnering directly with senior leaders and subject matter experts, the Manager helps shape priorities, translate operational challenges into practical AI use cases, drive experimentation and adoption, and deliver measurable business value. In addition, the role supports the redesign of workflows and decisionmaking processes to better leverage AI and improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.

A key expectation of this role is to enable business teams to build the capability to independently identify and apply AI over time, reducing reliance on centralized support and fostering sustainable, longterm adoption.

The role requires a high degree of autonomy, with responsibility for setting direction, managing complexity, and advancing AI adoption and new ways of working across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong business partnering, problem-solving, program management, and change leadership skills, along with a solid understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible use practices.

This position will be on a Hybrid schedule with at least 3 days per week in the New York, NY office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Business partnership and problem discovery: Serve as a trusted partner to leaders across functions to assess business priorities, identify pain points and workflow inefficiencies, and uncover high-value opportunities where AI can improve productivity, decision-making, employee experience, or business outcomes.

  • AI opportunity identification and prioritization: Translate business needs into clear AI use cases, assess feasibility, business value, risk, and organizational readiness, and partner with leaders to prioritize initiatives based on impact, scalability, and resource requirements, while considering opportunities to improve or redesign broader workflows

  • Cross-functional coordination: Serve as a key connector across business stakeholders and AI, data, technology, privacy, security, legal, and change management partners to align priorities and move initiatives from idea through pilot, implementation, and scale.

  • Use case development and implementation support: Lead definition of business requirements, success metrics, process changes, and adoption plans for AI initiatives, and guide pilots and proofs of concept to ensure solutions address real business needs and are designed for sustainable outcomes.

  • Change management and adoption: Lead change management efforts to build awareness, engagement, and readiness across teams by partnering with leaders to communicate the purpose of AI initiatives, address resistance and ambiguity, and reinforce practical, responsible use in day-to-day work.

  • Value measurement and continuous improvement: Establish success metrics, track outcomes, gather stakeholder feedback, and translate insights into actions that refine solutions, strengthen adoption, and identify additional opportunities for scale and broader impact

  • AI capability building and self-sufficiency: Strengthen AI literacy and practical understanding across functions by curating and sharing relevant use cases, lessons learned, and resources. Actively support business teams in developing the ability to independently identify, prioritize, and apply AI, enabling more selfsustaining and scalable adoption over time.

  • Governance and responsible use: Guide alignment of AI initiatives with company policies and data privacy, legal, security, and ethical standards, and partner with relevant teams to enable compliant, responsible, and scalable deployment.

  • Executive communication: Develop clear executive updates, recommendations, and decision-support materials that help leaders evaluate AI opportunities, monitor progress, understand risks and outcomes, and make informed decisions.

  • Honesty, trustworthiness and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above.
