Join us and redefine what’s next for you.What you’ll do:A Nonstop Field Technical Support Consultant provides onsite technical services to help customers achieve their business objectives. Technical services include ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of mission-critical environments running on HPE Nonstop Servers, working closely with enterprise customers to deliver proactive and reactive support.How you will make your mark: • Provide Level 1 technical support for incidents related to HPE NonStop hardware and some software.• Troubleshoot and resolve basic system issues, escalating to engineering teams when necessary.• Apply patches, firmware updates, and collaborate applying software upgrades in coordination with customer change management processes• Collaborate in incidents follow up and documentation• Register and control systems hardware and software inventories, including licenses, users, etc.•Apply continuous systems monitoring • Participate in customer review meetings and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.• Work closely with HPE internal teams, including engineering, product support, and account management.• Share knowledge and best practices with peers and contribute to internal knowledge bases.What you need to bring:About You• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.• 2+ years of experience supporting general systems in enterprise environments. A plus with knowledge of HPE NonStop systems• Preferable understanding of NonStop OS, Guardian, OSS, TCP/IP, and related subsystems and concepts.• Preferable experience with NonStop utilities such as SCF, FUP, TMF, EMS, and PATHWAY.• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.• Excellent communication skills in English language.• Availability to work extended rotating shiftsNice to have:Familiarity with ITIL processes...
