Accountabilities:
- Build and maintain robust APIs and microservices capable of supporting business growth and operational demands.
- Translate complex business rules into clean, efficient, and maintainable code focused on automation and process optimization.
- Develop scalable architectures and implement integrations with third-party systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
- Ensure application quality through testing practices, code reviews, and reliable deployment processes.
- Contribute to technical decisions, continuous improvements, and the evolution of engineering practices.
- Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
- Participate in initiatives that improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with backend development.
- Strong experience with Python, especially Django Framework and Django REST Framework (DRF).
- Experience working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of Serverless functions and cloud-based development environments.
- Experience designing and consuming APIs and working with backend integrations.
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices, testing, and deployment processes.
- Innovative mindset with strong collaboration, transparency, and problem-solving skills.
- Nice to have: experience with Kafka or other messaging systems.
- Nice to have: knowledge of Vue.js or frontend development.
