YOUR ROLE
As a DMS Project Manager on our team, you’ll drive day to day activities for Volvo Truck products.
In your daily job you will:
Coordinate cross functional teams to ensure successful execution of product development projects from planning through launch.
Manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables and action plans while maintaining alignment with customer expectations and business objective.
Monitor project risks, dependencies and open issues. Driving mitigation actions and timely escalations when required.
Facilitate effective communication between engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and other supporting functions.
Lead regular project reviews, status meetings, and stakeholder updates to ensure transparency and alignment
Support project budgeting, resource planning, and cost monitoring activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Build strong relationships with customer representatives and internal stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
YOUR BACKGROUND
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
Proficiency in Project Management.
+3 years of experience. SW and/or automotive background will be an advantage.
Fluent English Language skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive complex projects with multiregional teams both Customer and Internal.
Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and manage competing project demands in a dynamic environment.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
Experience in risk management, issue resolution and proactive problem-solving.
Ability to analyze project data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Strong planning, organizational and follow-up skills with attention to details.
