Job Description As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Madison, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic tech location, where you will help monitor entry activity, support badge and access screening, and remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns. This role blends customer service, communication, and attention to detail in a people-first environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a dynamic technology-focused location.Screen people, bags, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving designated areas in accordance with site protocols, helping to identify prohibited items or unusual activity and reporting concerns to site leadership.Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and document visitor and delivery activity while maintaining clear communication with personnel, guests, and/or local responders as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalating issues involving access control, screening results, and/or suspicious behavior.Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location and assignment needs.
