The project we're building right now is an image-and-text community where real people share first-hand experiences and recommendations — what to try, where to go, how to do something. It's where people come to get inspired and to make everyday decisions, learning from others who've actually been there. It's still early — a small team working 0→1.If you want high ownership, a short path from idea to ship, and the chance to shape a product from its first version, this is that kind of team.We're looking for a senior Android engineer to help build our Android app from its early versions. You'll own significant parts of the client, set patterns the team relies on, and work closely with design and product to ship a fast, polished consumer experience.Software Engineer - Android, Standalone Apps Team Responsibilities:Design, build, and ship core features of the Android app, end to end.Own the architecture of major client areasset conventions and raise the bar for code quality, performance, and reliability.Drive a high-quality consumer experience — smooth scrolling, fast load, low crash rate — and instrument it to measure and improve it.Partner with design, product, and backend engineers to scope and sequence work in a fast 0→1 environment.Mentor other engineers through code review, design review, and pairing.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or...
