Apply- Build sophisticated data triage and exploration interfaces that enable users to filter, analyze, and investigate data across millions of records
- Design and develop web front-end visualization tools for Zipline’s data pipelines, enabling high-quality analysis to solve critical autonomy problems
- Build scalable and performant backend APIs and realtime data pipelines to support complex querying, filtering, and aggregation across large datasets
- Design and implement efficient database schemas, indexes, and query optimization strategies to ensure performant search and analysis at scale
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to understand workflows and deliver tools that improve operational efficiency and data-driven decision making- Expertise in modern front-end (Typescript, React, Zustand, Storybook, Playwright)
- Strong user-centered design thinking - ability to iterate with users and translate complex technical requirements into intuitive UX
- Proven ability to work closely with internal customers and deliver software end-to-end in order to address diverse needs
- Demonstrated experience building production-grade full stack web applications
- Working knowledge of cloud databases (e.g. AWS RDS, DocumentDB)
- Strong experience with data-heavy web applications and performance optimization for large datasetsUnderstanding of database query optimization and working with complex JSON/nested data structures
- Experience with backend frameworks for API design (Django, Flask, FastAPI)
