Accountabilities:
- Lead operational performance strategy across pharmacy operations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Drive achievement of key performance targets related to productivity, turnaround times, quality, and service levels.
- Identify, prioritize, and execute process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Establish, monitor, and improve key performance indicators, reporting structures, and performance routines.
- Support the implementation of technology solutions that improve automation, workflow efficiency, and operational visibility.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to execute enterprise initiatives and maximize business impact.
- Oversee workforce planning, staffing models, and resource optimization strategies.
- Lead root cause analysis efforts to identify operational challenges and implement sustainable solutions.
- Manage operational budgets and support achievement of financial efficiency goals.
- Support transitions and improvements related to pharmacy operating systems and operational platforms.
- Build strong relationships with operational leaders and influence decision-making through data-driven insights.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams while promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Healthcare, Business, or a related field required; PharmD preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience and leadership responsibility within pharmacy operations or related healthcare environments.
- Experience managing high-volume pharmacy processing, fulfillment operations, or technology-enabled healthcare workflows.
- Proven experience leading multi-unit teams of 100+ employees, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
- Strong expertise in workflow optimization, operational strategy, and KPI management.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze performance data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement effective solutions.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive operational accountability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and experience managing complex operational challenges.
