JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the management of medium to low complexity compliance assignments within the IT organization, including support and oversight of vulnerability management, CIS benchmark and Operational Technology (OT) compliance. Actively participate in establishing or maintaining a framework to ensure that IT processes and strategies are aligned with the policies, regulations, laws and business objectives as well as driving continuous improvement in IT compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support compliance activities for vulnerability management, CIS benchmark & Operational Technology (OT) compliance, ensuring effective tracking of remediation, reporting and promotion of compliance through monitoring against defined standards and SLAs
Support the development and maintenance of compliance reporting, including dashboards and metrics to support monitoring and reporting
For non-compliance, guide and facilitate IT Exception submissions, ensuring appropriate documentation aligned with policies and standards
Train, support and educate the IT organization on legislative requirements, including Jabil general and application controls
Drive validation of Jabil general and application controls throughout the IT organization (corporate and site)
Highlight areas of improvement identified during audits that pose compliance risks
Recommend and coordinate the tracking of corrective actions to ensure closure of remediation items
Recommend changes to procedures and standards to ensure compliance while minimizing the impact on business processes
Serve as a focal point for escalation and resolution of compliance issues
Perform evaluation of internal controls
Act as a facilitator between IT and internal/external audit teams
Maintain positive relationships with all employees and seek suggestions for improving compliance of IT processes and systems
Drive continuous improvement of processes, procedures, and systems, ensuring they are efficient and not redundant
Participate in and support IT Compliance initiatives and ensure timely delivery; organize work effectively and efficiently.
Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to data and proprietary information whether internal to Jabil or customer-specific
Participate in the exchange of ideas within the department. Ask questions and encourage input from other team members
Provide regular updates to appropriate managers and consult with them on complex or unusual situations
Comply with company security policies and procedures
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
JOB QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree. Prefer a degree in a technical field such as Information Security, Management Information Systems or Computer Science.
Experience in a compliance or audit environment, preferably facilitating Information Technology compliance and/or audit activities is highly desired.
Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks accurately and precisely.
Able to handle repetitive tasks and eager to learn new knowledge and skills.
General knowledge of Information Technology.
Familiarity with IT Security concepts (e.g., access control, data protection, vulnerability management, and security frameworks) is an added advantage.
Proficiency in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and email skills required.
PowerBI Knowledge is an added advantage.
