As a Sales Manager, you’re not just building off-site client relationships to drive revenue – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies: Create targeted plans to achieve or exceed revenue and room night goals
  • Generate new business opportunities: Travel off-property to solicit leads, host conferences, conduct sales presentations, and build relationships with prospective clients
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing: Determine rates and negotiate terms that align with revenue goals and client expectations
  • Maintain client relationships: Host, entertain, and manage key accounts to strengthen loyalty and encourage repeat business
  • Respond to inbound inquiries: Manage incoming requests from prospective clients for rooms, meeting space, and event services
  • Inspire and develop the team: Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment
