What this job involves
As a Facilities Manager supporting UOB's Operations Branches and offsite buildings, you'll deliver comprehensive management services for day-to-day operations. Working closely with the Senior Facilities Manager, you'll help achieve account targets and meet agreed key performance indicators while maintaining best-in-class service standards. This role encompasses vendor management, facilities operations, procurement, customer service, and reporting activities that keep our client's facilities running smoothly and efficiently.
What your day-to-day will look like
You'll manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure service delivery meets client expectations. Your responsibilities include overseeing facilities operations and identifying improvement opportunities, handling procurement activities and managing property risks, and maintaining strong customer service and client relationships.
You'll process purchase orders and goods receipt activities according to bank procedures, prepare reports on facility performance and inspections, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Implementation and management of the JLL Corrigo helpdesk tool will fall under your scope, including training client staff on its use for logging service requests.
When needed, you'll support internal projects from tender through execution, coordinating moves, adds, and changes while managing project planning, staff communications, quality supervision, and project reporting. You'll conduct periodic inspections of facilities and equipment, implement property risk management programs covering occupational health and safety, fire safety, essential services, and environmental concerns, and follow established escalation and incident reporting procedures.
Active participation in training activities and other tasks assigned by management round out your responsibilities.
Required qualifications
- Experience in facilities management or building operations
- Knowledge of vendor and contract management practices
- Understanding of health and safety requirements and risk management principles
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate with various stakeholders
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with facilities management systems and reporting tools
- Experience with procurement processes and purchase order management
Preferred qualifications
- Background supporting financial services or banking sector clients
- Familiarity with JLL Corrigo or similar helpdesk/work order management platforms
- Experience supporting facility projects including moves, adds, and changes
- Knowledge of fire safety, environmental compliance, and essential services management
- Demonstrated ability to implement new systems and train users
