This role drives operational excellence by converting manual workflows into scalable automation solutions, advanced analytics, and integrated systems across planning, supplier & inventory management, and distribution center (DC) operations.Acting as the vital bridge between Local Market operations, Regional leadership, and Central Product & Technology teams, you will translate complex business needs into automated realities that reduce planner workload, improve decision-making, and optimize supply chain network performance.Key Responsibilities1. Regional Automation & Process TransformationRoadmap Execution & Design: Define, design, and deploy the regional automation roadmap across Demand Planning, Replenishment, Supplier Management, and DC Operations. Design and implement scalable automation solutions that can be replicated across multiple countries with minimal localizationWorkflow Elimination: Identify operational bottlenecks and eliminate manual tasks by automating supplier communication, PO follow-ups, and exception management.Standardization & Governance: Package successful local market initiatives into standardized frameworks for regional rollout. Establish governance mechanisms to ensure sustainable automation adoption and performance monitoring.2. Central Product Alignment & RolloutBusiness Partnership: Act as the primary regional interface for Central Product, Data, and Engineering teams. Align regional priorities with the broader central supply chain technology and automation roadmap.Feature Deployment: Gather market requirements, translate them into product specs, and lead the testing, validation, and rollout of central tools while integrating SC platforms (e.g., IDP, Supplier Central).Feedback Loop: Drive adoption of central platforms while providing structured, data-driven feedback to Central teams to close process gaps.3. Data Engineering & Analytics ProductsPipeline Development: Build and maintain robust data pipelines using SQL, BigQuery, and Python to support supply chain decision-making.Automated Dashboards: Design and own automated KPI tracking, alerting mechanisms, and reporting solutions covering:Fill Rate, Availability, & Service LevelsInventory Health & Stock TransfersSupplier Performance & Forecast AccuracyDC Utilization & Capacity Planning4. Systems Integration & ToolingAPI & Tool Development: Build lightweight applications and API-based integrations connecting operational tools, internal systems, and communication platforms.Next-Gen Tech: Leverage cloud platforms, workflow automation software, and AI-enabled tools to enhance end-to-end supply chain visibility and productivity.5. Distribution Center OptimizationWarehouse Productivity: Support automation initiatives within DC operations, including receiving, stock transfers, inventory controls, and labor/capacity planning.Visibility & Insights: Build lightweight tools and automated alerts to provide real-time warehouse visibility and fleet/utilization insights.DC Reporting Standards: Standardize DC performance measurement and operational reporting across markets.
