Role and Responsibilities

Job Summary 

We are looking for a Marketing Manager based in Montevideo, Uruguay who will be responsible for the strategy, execution and control of marketing actions of Samsung's own channel in its different formats (E-Commerce, Samsung House, SES, Kiosks, etc.) and the consumer experience in them.

Develop strategies on new product or company's IMC (Integrated Marketing Communications) and strategies on establishing a unique brand image and lead the entire marketing activity such as PR, ATL/BTL advertising materials, events or media strategy to ensure consistent branding and messages in all communication and help the department in charge with setting directions.

Areas of Responsibilities in this role, you will be responsible for:

- Maximize the marketing impact by developing the new product's integrated communication strategy and marketing KPI in accordance with the business and product strategy. 
- Promote continued marketing communication by providing consistent goals and marketing directions to related marketing departments(PR, digital, media, campaigns and etc.)

- Conducting research to define targeted customer segments and determine the key values that drive buying behavior for each segment 
- Developing brand/product positioning, associated marketing themes, and media channels that align with target customer demographics (e.g., company website, social media, publications, email, radio/TV, face-to-face, etc.) 
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies (e.g., advertising, informational webinars/blogs, direct marketing, trade shows/public events, online/in-store promotions, business customer relationship building, etc.) 
- Overseeing development and distribution of marketing materials 
- Ensuring customer experience is in line with brand image and strategy 
- Monitoring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns & tactics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or additional certifications in marketing or digital strategy are preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing management, preferably in the tech or retail industry.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies.
  • Experience managing MDF funds, trade marketing, and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of brand positioning, customer segmentation, and market research.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools (CRM, Google Ads, social media platforms).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with external partners.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in monitoring KPIs and optimizing campaigns.
  • Fluent in Spanish (native or near-native) and English (professional working proficiency).
  • Availability to travel
