Accountabilities:
- Lead the organic social media strategy across key consumer, healthcare professional, and community channels, ensuring alignment with broader marketing and brand objectives.
- Develop and execute platform-specific content strategies across channels such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Translate campaigns, product launches, clinical milestones, educational initiatives, and community stories into engaging and compliant social content.
- Manage content calendars, publishing workflows, creative development, and collaboration with internal teams and external agency partners.
- Build and nurture online communities through social listening, audience engagement, user-generated content, and meaningful interactions with customers, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and advocacy groups.
- Lead influencer marketing initiatives, including creator partnerships, agency collaboration, and the development of ambassador programs.
- Cultivate relationships with users, advocates, and creators to increase awareness, trust, education, and engagement while maintaining brand and regulatory standards.
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, clinical, regulatory, legal, product, medical affairs, and customer teams to ensure accurate and impactful messaging.
- Define performance metrics, analyze campaign results, monitor audience behavior, and optimize social strategies based on insights and data.
- Evaluate agency performance and provide recommendations to improve engagement, content effectiveness, and business outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, content strategy, digital marketing, communications, or related disciplines.
- Proven experience developing and managing organic social media strategies across multiple platforms for diverse audiences, including consumers, healthcare professionals, and broader communities.
- Strong background in content creation, storytelling, editorial judgment, creative direction, and community building.
- Experience managing external agencies and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to translate complex technical, clinical, or regulated information into clear, engaging, customer-focused communications.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using social media metrics, digital analytics, audience insights, and performance reporting to guide decisions.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing, social listening tools, and online community management.
- Comfortable using AI-powered tools to improve productivity, content development, and marketing execution.
- Experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or life sciences is preferred.
- Experience engaging with patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, or advocacy communities is a plus.
- Knowledge of paid social media strategies is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time and work occasional evenings or weekends when required for urgent initiatives.
- Competitive salary range of $95,000–$160,000 USD.
