For this role, you will be expected to be located in Pretoria Gauteng. This role actively offers clinical/case support as and where needed. Please note that this is a fixed-term contract for 6 months.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Provides clinical and technical support to end-users, associated HCP’s and patients where required.
- Provides clinical and technical expertise through case support, product demonstrations, installations, and maintenance of company products.
- Provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by providing technical support and information on specific applications, where/as needed.
- Conducts on-site education and consulting and supports establishment and maintenance of customer relations with healthcare professionals and organizations.
- Weekly coordination and collaboration with Sales Representatives to ensure smooth adoption of MDT technology.
- Area of accountability would be product/disease focus, linked to the Operating Unit you are responsible for.
- Focus on clinically driven accounts with a need for onsite support.
- Management of consignment inventory in allocated accounts as per SOP for specific OU’s assigned to you.
- Consignment Inventory to be defined as: Expired; Short dated; Non/slow-moving; Cycle Count.
- Ensure compliance with internal training (Cornerstone), use of Customer Relations Management Tools – SFDC, activity scheduling.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in Trauma, Orthopedics or Medical device Industry (working in theatre)
- Experience in spine surgery
- Medical background and experience in the surgical field
- Positive attitude and well spoken
- Lift sets up to 15 kg
- Be able to work overtime/weekends where needed
- Be able to travel outside region to assist with case support
