Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring quality and integrity in executing work on the Mold equipment engineering process
- Overseeing the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
- Keeping current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues
- Studying equipment performance and reliability
- Establishing programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process
- Providing technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations
- Defining and writing preventative maintenance schedules
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum Education (Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering,) Physics or related engineering degree
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer
Minimum requirements - Technical skills
- Minimum 5 yrs working experience with Mold Asahi or Towa machines
- Advance mold die tooling disassembly and assembly
- Expertise on tooling design and modifications
- Advance setup, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Basic machine calibration knowledge
- Use of handy panel and other calibration jigs
- Basic equipment and process parameters understanding
